Chiew Hui is from Malaysia. John is from Michigan. So where to get married? On a Caribbean island of course! The bride and groom along with friends and family celebrated with a seven day cruise. The wedding took place on the Grand Cayman island during one of the daily stops. This island was gorgeous! Chiew Hui and John could not have picked a more beautiful place to start their lives together. They had a traditional wedding ceremony and then a Chinese tea ceremony where the bride and groom serve tea to their elders and give gifts to friends. The tea ceremony added an even more personal touch to this special day. I hope Chiew Hui and John have many years together as amazing as the paradise where it all began.

Nicky and Tyson's Wedding in Jamaica-Ocho Rios, Jamaica-Destination Wedding Photography
"Don't worry, about a thing. Every little thing's gonna be alright..." Bob Marley
Ok. So, this is the second wedding we have photographed at the Sandals Grande Riviera in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Yes, we are two lucky people. Through the power of the internet and the kind recommendation of Kimberly Walls, our last bride to get married in Jamaica (see her wedding here), we were connected with Nicky and Tyson. We couldn't have asked for a better couple. Now, the first time we ever met was in Jamaica the day before the wedding. On the phone, they had told us that we should be prepared because they were not photogenic in anyway. What?! That must have been some magical beautifying plane ride because look at these images below. They are beautiful people! Not only were they adorable, but they were so laid back, so funny, and so in love. It was so much fun photographing their wedding and hanging out with them the day before. From the heartfelt words that they composed for their ceremony, to their awesome reception on a private catamaran, they made their wedding so personal even as they were far away from home. Congratulations Nicky and Tyson! We wish you years and years of love as bright and unfading as the Jamaican sunshine.
