Melissa and Joe

After weeks of coordinating schedules Melissa, Joe and I set out on a lovely Saturday morning for their engagement session. As soon as I pulled up to the meeting spot it started to rain! But Melissa and Joe were troopers and we got some sweet images with the umbrella. My husband arrived half way through the shoot and saved the day by holding an umbrella over me, and more importantly, MY CAMERA! It was hot, humid and sprinkling, but love was in the air. We are so excited to photograph Melissa and Joe's wedding in August. Stay tuned for those pics...

Summertime

Well, I had a million other projects to work on before I touched tonight's session. But I was too excited! The daughter of one of my best friends, this little girl is amazingly beautiful and sweet. The light was so nice. Beautiful light and a 3 year old and with such a sweet spirit....it was what I needed to be inspired again. Check out future posts with her baby sister!

Katie and Derek are gettin' married!

I am so happy for my friend Katie. We met each other while waiting tables in that twenty- something transitional part of life. We have seen each other go up and down and sideways. She is one of the funniest and most endearing people I know and I am so happy that she has found someone that thinks she's amazing too. Congratulations Katie and Derek! I can't wait to see you get married this August. xoxo
