Kerry-Ann is from Jamaica. Ben is from Ohio. Despite coming from different parts of the world, they found each other. This kind of love story is so amazing to me.  Each of their little choices and big choices in life led to them meeting each other.  This blows my mind!  Out of the thousands of people they have met in many different places in the world, they chose each other.  It just confirms that each person has someone with whom to travel through life. They might be thousands of miles away or just looking a different direction until they turn their heads one day and see each other. 

Jon and I are so happy for Kerry-Ann and Ben and wish them happiness wherever their new journey together leads them.

BRANDI AND DEREK-ENGAGED-COLUMBUS, OHIO-WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Derek and Brandi first met while in college at the Long Street Nightclub in Downtown Columbus. The two shared a some conversation couple of drinks and that was about it.. Brandi had to tend to some of her friends and was whisked away leaving Derek wondering about the girl he hit it off with. Weeks later Derek and Brandi coincidentally met up at the same nightclub and this time Derek was sure to get Brandi's information so that he could call her sometime. They went on to date for 3 years until they split up because Derek took and international job offer. The two remained friends over the years and frequently talked about the future together. When Derek returned back to Columbus, he knew that Brandi was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and proposed to her with a personalized bottle of wine made just for her. They plan on opening the bottle on their 50th wedding anniversary.  Ah...love...

KIM AND NICK: HAVING A BABY-COLUMBUS, OHIO-MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

Babies, babies, babies!  This is the year of babies.  I have four of my couples from last year's wedding season who have had a baby already (wowza!) or have a little bambino on the way.  I am one happy photographer.  I love the fact that I not only get to photograph a couple's wedding day, but also the birth of their children.  It is amazing to see how families grow from two people that fall in love. Photographing Kim and Nick's maternity session is especially meaningful since I have known them since they first began dating.  We have all grown up and now, they have a baby due in July!  They have decided not to find out the sex of the baby...but keep checking in to see Baby Wall's newborn pictures later this summer.  I can't wait!
