Sunday in the Park

A few Sundays ago, I met this adorable family in the park. What a lucky photographer I am to get such a great family with such cute kids! We wandered around the park, played in the leaves and enjoyed the beautiful day. These two girls definitely have their own little personalities and it was so much fun capturing them. A few of my favorite things....autumn light, two year old energy and chubby baby cheeks. What a great day!

Michele and Justin 10-9-10

Last fall I posted Michele and Justin's fall engagement session. They had a good time playing in the leaves in the park. This fall Michele traded in her jeans for a gorgeous wedding dress and kelly green shoes! Their wedding took place at the Columbus Atheneaum. It was so personal and so lovely. Throughout the entire day, it was easy to see that this couple are truly best friends. Michele and Justin, I wish you lifetime of lots of love, laughs and more great shoes!

Ashley and James

Ashley and James were married on Oct 2nd. It looked like it was going to rain the WHOLE day, but we dodged the storms. I think this is a great metaphor for anyone getting married. No matter what the weather looks like in your life together, the story will turn out beautifully if you stick through it together. The clouds that hung over us this crisp October Saturday even made the images more interesting.....hummmm....something to think about. Jon and I had such a great time with this couple and their wedding party who were game for anything we suggested. We even went to the Canfield fairgrounds and got some great images in a not-too-haunted small town. It was a great day. Congratulations Ashley and James! We wish you love and happiness.

Crystal, Chris and their little guy

So I met Crystal almost a year ago. Tagging along for our meeting was her new little baby happily laying in his car seat as we chatted. Cut to a few weeks ago for Crystal and Chris' engagement session. No longer trapped by that pesky car seat, the little guy is now running as fast as he can away from us! I did manage to snap a few towards the end of the day....thank goodness for a fast shutter speed:) The rest of the time was spent photographing the bride and groom to be. It was so nice to get to know Chris and Crystal as we wandered around Inniswoods Garden. I can't wait to be a part of their wedding in a few weeks......
