Some summer cuties!

On a humid August morning, I reconnected with an old high school friend and met her beautiful family! Her 3 year old son is so fun and full of energy! His sister is a sweet little soul with a love for music. It is so interesting as a photographer to see how children's personalities bloom at a very early age. I am so fortunate to get to meet such beautiful little people:)

Katie and Derek

Just a few short months ago I posted some engagement images of my friend Katie and her handsome husband-to-be, Derek. Here are some of my favorites from their August 7th wedding! I was so honored to be able to capture every moment of Katie's wedding day. I was definitely choked up as she walked down the aisle. I had to hide behind my camera:) Congratulations Katie and Derek. Jon and I wish you a million years of love and happiness!

Ashley and James

For Ashley and James' engagement session we took advantage of a warm summer night and did some photos in the Short North and then headed over to German village to check out the Book Loft. Thank goodness James had his GPS since mine decided to lose its signal as we were right in the middle of downtown. Isn't that suppose to happen in the country or in a tunnel or something?? Despite the technical difficulties,we found our way and got some very cute images in the middle of all the great piles of new and used books that lay outside of the Book Loft. It was a great evening. I am so looking forward to their wedding this fall.

Erica and Sean

What a lovely wedding! I posted Erica and Sean's engagement photos last fall. We traveled to Miami of Ohio where they met. Its amazing to hear about the wedding plans for a year then see them all fall into a pretty place. I usually prefer outdoor ceremonies simply because of the light, but St. Joseph's is amazingly beautiful! It complemented Erica, the stunning bride. She could look amazing anywhere, but a grand cathedral was fitting for this beauty and her groom. The reception was held at the equally elegant Athletic Club. One of the most touching parts of the night was when Erica's sisters were in tears watching her dance with their dad. Erica had her sisters join her and her dad for the last part of the dance. It brought tears to my eyes to see how much these girls love their father no matter their age.
Congratulations Erica and Sean! Beautiful wedding! Beautiful life!
